Record Home Sales Continue in Grey Bruce

Record level residential sales activity continues in the Grey Bruce Owen Sound area.
The Realtors Association reports 274 homes changed hands in April, which was on par with record levels set last year.
The average sale price was nearly $255,000., which is up nearly 5% from last year.
And the number of active residential listings is down 27% from last year.
In all, $69.9 million dollars worth of property sold, which is up about 9 % from the same time month last year.
All types of properties sold in April, added up to $88.5 million, which is up 10 per cent from the year before.
And homes area selling faster, with inventory selling in an average of 5.5 months.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
