Clinton Man Succumbs To Injuries Following Crash

A man has died in hospital following a two-vehicle crash in Clinton.

The Ontario Provincial Police say on May 6 around 7:30am, a Honda Civic collided with the rear end of a Nissan Rogue on Huron Rd. at Front Rd. The driver of the Nissan was stopped at the intersection when the vehicle was hit from behind.

The driver of the Honda, 58-year-old William Shipp of Clinton, was rushed to hospital. He succumbed to internal injuries in hospital on May 7.

The collision remains under investigation.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
