Mount Forest Chamber Of Commerce Presents Annual Awards

A Wellington North councillor was named Mount Forest Citizen of the Year.

Dan Yake was one of eight nominees for the honour sponsored by the Mount Forest District Chamber of Commerce.

David Carney, a students at Wellington Heights Secondary School in Mount Forest, was named Mount Forest Young Citizen of the Year.

Young’s Home Hardware was named Corporate Citizen of the Year, and Mike and Carol’s Foodland won the Arny Feairs Customer Service award.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
