Skinny Dipper In Goderich Charged

A Waterloo man faces charges after allegedly going for a quick dip in Lake Huron, in the nude.

Police say the 28-year-old drew attention to himself Monday night. Witnesses reported a man had got out of his car at St. Christopher's beach in Goderich, stripped and went into the water. After a short swim he got out of the water and left in a Fiat sports car.

Minutes later officers were able to locate the suspect vehicle parked at a restaurant located on Bayfield Rd. and the man was placed under arrest for committing an indecent act.

While speaking with the man, the investigating officer noted a smell of alcohol and a roadside screening test was completed and the driver registered a fail.

After being taken back to an OPP detachment, two breath samples registered over the league limit.

Milos Agatonovic, 28, from Waterloo faces charges of care and control of a motor vehicle over 80 mg of alcohol, and committing an indecent act in a public place. He is scheduled to appear in a Goderich court on July 4.

He also received an automatic 90-day driver’s licence suspension and his vehicle has been impounded for seven days.
