Planned Power Outages For Howick, Minto And Arthur

A number of Hydro One customers serviced by the Listowel and Walkerton Operations Centres will be without power for a few hours Sunday morning.

Hydro One spokesperson Alicia Sayers says crews will be relocating lines and poles to complete a roundabout for the upcoming International Plowing Match along with other repairs.

"This work is taking place in Harriston near Hwy. 9 (109) and Wellington Rd. 5. Our crews will also be replacing a damaged air switch in Palmerston from the spring ice storm that is on a main line which serves customers from the Palmerston Distribution Station," says Sayers.

Hydro One crews will also be relocating some hydro poles and lines along Hwy. 6 which will affect roughly 836 customers in the Howick, Minto and Arthur areas.

The power outages will be in effect from 7am to 11am Sunday morning.
