Huron County's Turbine Impact Study Delayed

The Huron County Health Unit's study on the health impact of wind turbines on county residents has been put on hold.

Health Board Chair Tyler Hessel explains they're looking for more information on what other municipalities and the province are doing, because they don't want to duplicate something that's already been done.

Hessel says Grey-Bruce is looking at a similar study, and if that's the case they should at least talk to each other to avoid expensive duplication.

He emphasizes the study has not been cancelled. They simply want more information on costs and what else is being done in other municipalities across the province before they move forward with a Huron County study.
