Meaford Holds Service Review Public Meetings

Meaford Council is gathering input as part of a review of the services provided by the municipality.

Meetings have been scheduled to take place over the next month and a half, with a schedule of which services will be discussed on specific days available at meaford.ca

Everything from parks, to the harbour, to walking trails, will be up for discussion.

A meeting will be held tonight at the Trinity United Church in Annan between 7pm and 9pm.

The next meeting takes place at Bognor Hall on on Wednesday, May 24. And on Wednesday, May 31, another meeting is planned to take place at the Barn Co-operative. Those meetings both run from 7pm-9pm.

The final meetings will be held on June 1 at St. James Fairmont Church, and June 2 at Meaford St. Vincent Community Centre.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
