Minto Council Approves Monster Truck Rides In Harriston

A Harriston man will be allowed to operate a monster truck attraction at the north end of Harriston, giving rides to children.

Before approving Murray Marquardt's business proposal on six acres of leased Minto-owned land, council modified the agreement to address neighbour concerns.

Only one monster truck will be allowed on the property, travelling no faster than 10 mph.  And there are restrictions regarding noise, dust and vibration.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
