Three Groups to Benefit from Minto Mayor's Charity Golf Tournament

Three Minto groups have been selected to be the beneficiaries of the Mayor's Charity Golf Tournament in August.

This is the sixth year for the golf tournament, which usually hands out about $3,500 to each of the three recipients.

The First Palmerston Scout Troop will use its money to pay for a trip to the Canadian Jamboree in Nova Scotia.

Minto Ball will use its cash for new equipment, and the Minto Refugee Committee will put its money towards bringing a Syrian family to Minto.
