Bluewater Might Share Emergency Management Services With Huron County

The Municipality of Bluewater is one of the lower-tier municipalities interested in sharing Community Emergency Management services with Huron County.

Mayor Tyler Hessel explains an invitation was extended to all of the partnering lower-tier councils at the Municipal Officers Association conference back in April to share services with Huron County.

Hessel says a few municipalities declined but he believes four or five are interested.

The issue came to Bluewater council this week and Hessel says the feeling was council would like more financial information before making a commitment, but Bluewater would definitely like to be part of the conversation.
