Bruce Peninsula Barn Destroyed By Fire

A fire last night in the Bruce Peninsula destroyed a large barn on Municipal Rd.

At 9pm, Bruce Peninsula OPP, along with the South Bruce Peninsula Fire Department and Bruce County EMS, were called to the large structure, which was fully engulfed upon their arrival.

The barn was housing equipment and hay, but the extent of the damages are unknown at this time.

No one was injured in the fire and the livestock was unharmed.

The Ontario Fire Marshall's Office is investigating and the fire has been deemed suspicious.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
