Kincardine Bear Caught And Relocated

A Ministry of Natural Resources conservation officer managed to capture a bear in Kincardine, and relocate it to a more suitable location.

The bear was spotted about 6:38am Wednesday morning near Adelaide St. in Kincardine.

OPP officers were called, and kept an eye on the animal as it moved into the bush south of the Kincardine area.

The bear was caught about 10:42am following several more sighting reports.

There has been no word yet on where the bear was taken.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
