Huron County Health Unit Reviews Complaints Policy

The Huron County Health Unit is reviewing its complaints policy.

Health Board Chair Tyler Hessel explains they do have a complaints policy in place but it hasn't been reviewed or updated in about ten years and it's quite dated.

Hessel suggests a lot has changed in ten years so a review of the policy was in order.

Hessel adds it's important that they provide a fair and efficient service for all of the people they deal with from plumbing inspections to health regulations in restaurants.

He says people should feel they have an avenue to complain if they're not receiving the service they should be.
