Promoting Drinking Water In Huron County

A group is looking at a strategy for the Huron Healthy Kids Community Challenge.

Project Manager Bonnie Baynham explains the goal is to encourage people to drink water as their number one choice for hydrating.

"Water Does Wonders" is the theme and Baynham says they're looking for ways they can help communities assess what they have, and determine what they need to promote water rather than soft drinks.

She points out outdoor taps were a common thing at one time, but not anymore.

Baynham says more information can be found on their Facebook page at Healthy Kids Community Challenge Huron.
