North Huron Council Presents Cheque To Wingham Hospital

Prior to last night's North Huron council meeting, a special cheque presentation took place.

Council welcomed reps from the Wingham Hospital to receive a cheque to support the Wingham Hospital Foundation. CAO Sharon Chambers commented on the presentation after council adjourned.

"We had reps here from the hospital to receive the cheque from council. We are very pleased to support this very important initiative for the community. We recognize the importance of the hospital to the community, and as a major employer in the community, it's wonderful to be able to support them."

The cheque was for $250,000, and a photo op took place in front of town hall involving all of council and the visiting hospital reps.
