North Perth Woman In Critical Condition After Crash Near Dorking

Wellington County OPP say a North Perth woman involved in a crash on Hwy. 86 Monday is in critical but stable condition.

OPP says 22-year old Juanita Vongsouphath was airlifted to a London hospital early Monday morning.

Her Mazda collided with a tractor trailer near Dorking, and she was pulled from her car by a passerby before the vehicles erupted into flames.

The tractor trailer driver, 32-year old Michael Galbraith of North Perth, wasn't hurt.

The OPP continues to investigate and is asking witnesses to give them a call.

The crash closed the road for most of the day.

CORRECTION: In a release from the OPP, the age of the transport truck driver was stated as 23, when in fact Mr. Glabraith is 32. The correction has now been made in the above article.
