Huron County Planning Consistency A Key For The County

Huron County's Manager of Planning presented county council with a report on consistency in planning issues this week.

Sandra Weber explains planning consistency across the county was identified as one of the goals for the county, and the report she presented explains what that might mean. Weber points out each municipality has its own unique characteristics, and exceptions will be made to accommodate that uniqueness.

But she adds the consistency will involve making sure developers throughout the county have the information they need to proceed with their projects, and that they have access and input from all of the people involved in the process.

The report was accepted and will now be distributed to the lower-tier municipalities for information.
