OPP Identify West Grey Man as Victim of Fatal Crash

OPP say a 67 year old West Grey man was killed in a head on crash Friday in Grey Highlands.

Colin Benson was killed when a Dodge RAM pick-up and Ford Escape collided head-on on Grey County Road 4, just after noon.

The driver of the Dodge Ram was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two others were airlifted to a Toronto area hospital with serious injuries.

A Passenger, 69 year old Larry Benson of Brampton, is in hospital in stable condition.

A 20 year old West Grey man who was driving the Escape is also in stable condition in hospital.

The investigation continues, and charges are pending.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
