Western Wardens Looking At 'Regional' Approach

Part of Huron County's strategic plan for economic development is making its way to the Western Wardens Caucus.

Huron Warden Paul Gowing explains the Western Wardens are adopting the concept of working as a region in economic development. There's also agreement that what is good for one county will ultimately benefit all 15 counties of Southwestern Ontario.

Gowing points out the issues that Huron County faces are similar to the issues being dealt with in the rest of the region, and they can all learn from each other's successes as well as failures.

Gowing adds the formation of an economic development plan will involve a process of looking at the entire region as they move forward.
