Huron-Bruce Federal Liberals Host Open Meeting on Wednesday

Former federal Liberal candidate Allan Thompson surprised a few people in Kincardine on the weekend.

Thompson, who is now the communications chair for the Huron-Bruce Federal Liberals, was knocking on doors in Kincardine with fellow Liberals.

Thompson explained they were out in the community asking people how they think things are going with the Trudeau government and if there was any message they'd like to deliver.

Canvassers were also reminding people that the Huron-Bruce Federal Liberals are holding an open meeting of the association this Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m. at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine.

"Most people were a bit surprised to have political canvassers at their door with no election on the horizon.   But by the same token, they also seemed appreciative when we explained that we were out in the community to ask people how they think things are going with the Trudeau government and if there was any message they'd like to deliver," Thompson posted on social media.
