Grey Bruce Health Unit Looking For Dog After Biting Incident in Owen Sound

A dog biting victim is hoping to avoid post-exposure rabies treatment after an incident in Owen Sound.
A person was bitten when trying to break up two dogs fighting outside of a convenience store on the 1200 block of 3rd Ave. E.
A brown dog, possibly a boxer, was tied up outside the store.
The Grey Bruce Health Unit wants to confirm the dog is not infectious with rabies.
The incident happened June 16th about 10pm.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
