Closing the Gap in Owen Sound Workers Join OPSEU

The Ontario Public Service Employees Union welcomes about 60 community health care professionals with Owen Sound's Closing the Gap Healthcare.

The Grey Bruce Home care workers provide services in homes, schools, workplaces, long-term care homes, hospitals and clinics.

They include occupational therapists, dietitians, speech pathologists, social workers, office administration, occupational therapy, physiotherapists, and their assistants.

OPSEU President Warren Smokey Thomas says the Closing The Gap Employees can be confident the union will do the utmost to ensure their rights in the workplace are respected and upheld.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
