Goderich Port Manager Reports 2015 Successes

The president of the Goderich Port Management Corporation says 2015 was an excellent year for the port.

Roland Howe explains they set a record for the number of ships that came into the port and the water level is up considerably over the level of a couple of years ago.

Howe says that makes it easier for ships to travel into and out of the port but also allows them to be loaded to capacity.

Howe adds despite the high water levels,  some maintenance dredging will be required in the harbour in 2017.
