UPDATE: 74 Year Old Killed In St. Jacobs Collision

Waterloo Regional Police say a 74 year old woman was pronounced dead after her Lexus SUV collided with a delivery truck.

The vehicle clipped the mirror of a northbound Hyundai SUV before hitting the truck.

Police say the collision occurred at about 11 this morning on Arthur St. south of Sawmill Rd. in Woolwich Township.

The roads were closed for several hours during the investigation, and fuel spill clean up.

No other injuries are reported. No names have been released yet.

Police continue to investigate the cause of the collision. Anyone with information is asked to call Waterloo Regional Police at 519-653-7700.
