War Medals Taken In Keppel Township Break-in

Several collectable war medals were taken in a break-in at a residence in Grey County.

The OPP received a report on the weekend about a break-in at a home on MacIntosh Drive in Keppel Township.

The residence had been forcibly entered in the previous week or two, and the missing items includes a Medal of Honor from France, a Holland liberation medal, a Royal Canadian Legion medal, and a quantity of frozen meat.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Grey County OPP or Crime Stoppers.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
