Sauble Speedway Holds Three Days of Racing to Celebrate Canada Day

Sauble Speedway is celebrating the Canada Day long weekend with three days of racing.

Tomorrow the action begins with the No Fenders Allowed show featuring the Candian Vintage Modifieds, OSCAAR Midgets, OSCAAR Modifieds and the CanAm Midgets.

Saturday's night sees the Landshark Launch Party featuring Thunder Cars, Four Cylinders, Bone Stocks, Jr Late Models and CanAm Midgets.

Sunday afternoon, Sauble Speedway holds its first invitational featuring the 2016 running of the Rick Woolner Memorial Open Wheel Modified race. In a release officials say there are over $15,000 in prizes to be awarded making it the richest open wheel modified race in the province.

Sauble Speedway is also offering a special deal for the nations birthday: buy two days o either Grandstand or Pit passes and get the third day free.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
