OPP Investigate Break-In At Moorefield Diner

A break-in occurred at the Moorefield Diner in Mapleton Township yesterday.

Sometime between the night of July 2nd and the morning of the 3rd, unknown suspects broke through the back door at the Moorefield Diner on McGivern Street in Moorefield.

The OPP responded on the morning of the 3rd just after 7 am, and discovered that cash had been stolen from the register. OPP Forensics in investigating.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
