Vandals and Thieves Target Owen Sound Vehicles

Thieves hit a number of locked and unlocked vehicles in the southwest area of Owen Sound early Sunday.

The Owen Sound Police Service received several calls from residents in the 200 and 300 block of 6th Avenue West, and north to the area of the 700 block of 4th Avenue West.

Unlocked vehicles were entered and rummaged through.

In two incidents, windows of vehicles were broken and valuable items that had been left in plain sight were removed.   One vehicle received a slashed tire.

Anyone with information regarding these crimes is asked to contact the Owen Sound Police or Crimestoppers.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
