Huron-Bruce MP Seeks Input Into Military & Defence Policy

The MP for Huron-Bruce is asking residents within his riding for their input surrounding Canada's military.

A number of Town Hall Meetings / Round Table Discussions are taking place right across the country as part of a national public consultation into Canada's Defence Policy Review.

At the first of four Town Hall Meetings in Wingham on Wednesday, MP Ben Lobb heard from a small group of residents about their concerns surrounding Canada's Military.

Among those concerns, our veterans and the care they receive.

"They [your veterans] should receive the best care possible form a health care perspective; that was one of the questions inside the mandate and as well, after they leave the military, to be well served by Veteran's Affairs," says Lobb.

The Town Hall Meetings / Round Table Discussions continue through Thursday at the following locations:

Wednesday, July 6, 2016: Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 183 in Kincardine (7pm - 9pm)

Thursday, July 7, 2016: Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 167 in Exeter (10am - 12pm) Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 19 in Goderich (7pm - 9pm)
