Firearms Stolen From Owen Sound Vehicle

Early Thursday morning, two firearms were stolen out of a vehicle in Owen Sound.

The vehicle was parked in the 100-block of 6th Ave. W. Both firearms had trigger locks, and there was no ammunition stored with the guns.

Police wish to remind gun owners that the safest place to store them is in their designated containers in your residence, and not in vehicles.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
