Falcons beat the Steelers in Exhibition Double Header

Kyle Harloff drove in the game winning run as the Shakespeare Falcons topped the Australian Junior Men's Team 2-1 in the second game of a double header last night.

Jodie Scharr belted a home run for the Falcons in the first game leading Shakespeare to a 4-1 victory.

The Steelers began the day with a training camp in Milverton and will be back there this weekend to play a mini-tournament against the Hill United Chiefs and Toronto Gators.

The Steelers are touring Ontario in preparation for the Under 19 Championships in Michigan July 24th-30th.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
