Day Steals the Show at Hanover Raceway

Ryan Holliday of Mount Forest won three times at Hanover Raceway last night but it was new comer Natasha Day that captured fans attention.

In a release, Hanover Raceway says the 36-year-old from Australia won Race 2 with Cold Shadow in 1:58.2 for owners Rebecca Geisel of Hanover and Shelley May of Walkerton. She took Race 4 with She's A Star Reporter in 1:58:1.

Day told race organizers she didn't think she would have good night after suffering a flat tire on her race bike early in the night.

Holliday won Race 3 with Cold Shadow in 2:03.3 for owner Jeff Williamson of Blyth. He won Race 6 with Snegem Bianca in 2:03.1 for owners Stacey Newman and Faith Megans of Cambridge. He completed the hat trick with Chewey in 2:00.2 for owner Kingfisher Farms of Seneca.
