Ironmen Sign Three More Players

The Wingham Ironmen announced three signings this morning.

In an announcement on social media, the Ironmen announced the signing of two-time Western Junior C All-Star Jeremy Ross.

They also announced the signing of rookie forward Logan Tolton from the South Bruce Midgets and rookie defenseman Carter Collinson from the Listowel Midgets.

Ross is playing his fourth and final year with the Junior C team and the club describes him as a tireless forward who outworks anyone else.

Tolton is described as a power forward with size and offensive potential. He has played for teams that have won provincial championships in the arena and on the ball diamond.

Collinson is described as a smooth puck moving defenseman with offensive potential. He has experience with the Listowel Midgets and the Huron Perth Lakers Minor Midget team.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
