Stolen ID's Found In Listowel Lead To Charges

Two people face charges after a number of fake and stolen identification cards were found in Listowel.

An OPP officer was checking a rental cube van Wednesday night in Inkerman St West.

The driver was found to be suspended from driving and when arrested that's when the identification cards were found.

As a result Ryan Green, 34, of Palmerston and Kate Lace, 23, of Palmerston face charges.

Those charges include:

  • 21 counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
  • Ten counts of identity theft
  • 11 counts of possessing counterfeiting mark
  • Seven counts of possession of identity documents
In addition, Lace also faces two counts of failing to comply with a probation order.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
