North Perth Has Purchased Listowel Central and Wallace Public Schools

The Municipality of North Perth now owns both Listowel Central and Wallace Public Schools.

The municipality recently purchased both properties from the Avon Maitland District School Board. North Perth hopes to be able to control planning processes for the properties and ensure future plans and uses are in the best interest of the community.

There are no current plans for the properties but the municipality will study the best use of the land from a community perspective in the near future.

Kindergarten to Gr. 8 students from both schools will attend the new North Perth Westfield Elementary School in Listowel's west end this fall.
