Burn Ban Updates In Midwestern Ontario

Perth County's open air fire ban continues this weekend. That means any outdoor fire including bonfires, campfires, burn barrels, fireplaces and any fire in open air.

The only exceptions are campfires in the City of Stratford and cooking fires within approved campgrounds between noon and midnight.

The extreme dryness of all vegetation has pushed the provincial forest and wild-land fire indicators to extreme levels.

In the meantime, Wellington North has lifted their burn ban.
