Rank tied for 11th at RBC Canadian Open

Elmira's Garrett Rank put on a stellar performance at the RBC Canadian Open, shooting a 3-under 69 in his opening round.

Rank is playing in the tournament as an amateur and is in a tie for 11th place.  World number one ranked golfer Jason Day is also in 11th place.

Amateur Jared du Toit is the highest ranking Canadian at the tournament with a 5-under 67.

Americans Luke List and Dustin Johnson share first place atop the leaderboard at 6-under 66.

Listowel's Corey Conners finished the day at 3-over 75. He is tied for 97th place.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
