Driver Sought In Flesherton Hit And Run

Grey Highlands OPP are looking for the public's help in locating a driver that fled the scene after striking a pedestrian in Flesherton on Friday evening.

Police say a 49-year-old Flesherton woman was crossing Durham St. at the lights just before 6pm Friday when she was struck by a Dodge RAM pick-up truck. The impact threw the woman a fair distance.

She was taken to hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Provincial police are looking for a Caucasian male, 50 to 60 years of age, with short grey hair and tanned skin, driving a blue-teal heavy duty Dodge RAM pick-up that was last seen heading westbound on Durham St.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
