Drugs & Ammo Seized from Home in Owen Sound

Three people are facing charges following a search warrant at an Owen Sound residence on Friday (July 29th, 2016) that turned up drugs and ammunition.

Owen Sound Police say drug unit officers searched a home on the 800 Block of 6th Avenue West and seized hydromorphone, marijuana and ammunition for a firearm.

A 31-year-old man is charged with Possession of a Schedule II Drug and failing to comply with probation order while a 26-year-old woman is charged with Possession of a Schedule I Drug.

Police say a 27-year-old man is wanted on an outstanding warrant for Possession of Ammunition in Violation of Order of Prohibition.

Police say two others were arrested and later released.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
