North Star Season Ends

The Owen Sound North Stars Senior B Lacrosse season came to an end over the weekend.

The North Stars lost Game 3 of their Semifinal series 8-6 to Brooklin and then gave up a 14-5 decision in Game 4 on Saturday.

After the Game 4 loss, the team took to Facebook, posting videos thanking the fans and sponsors for their support throughout the season.

The North Stars host their annual Golf Tournament and Awards Ceremony at Scenic City Golf Course on Saturday, August 20th.

Tickets are $100 dollars and includes golf, card and steak or chicken supper.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
