Minto Lists Priorities For Canada 150 Grant

Minto has chosen a $50,000 upgrade to improve accessibility to the Harriston arena as its top priority for a Canada 150 grant.

The work will include automatic doors, a ramp and landscaping.  Similar work at the Clifford arena is the number two priority.

Under the same grant, Minto hopes to enhance a number of community events including the farmers’ markets, Norgan Theatre Film Fest and Clifford Homecoming.

Minto wants to create a New Year’s Eve celebration to ring in 2017.
