Southgate Trying To Attract GO Bus Service

Southgate wants to bring GO bus service to Dundalk.

The municipality is throwing its support behind an effort by the nearby town of Shelburne to bring GO service north to it from Orangeville.   It hopes if GO buses make it to Shelburne, they will keep coming up Hwy. 10 to Dundalk.

Southgate council was enthusiastic about the prospect, but CAO Dave Milliner warned the public not to get too excited about seeing GO buses in Dundalk anytime soon.

He still figures it’s a real possibility in the next ten years.
