OPP Reminding Drivers to STOP & LOOK at Intersections

Perth County OPP are once again reminding drivers to "STOP and LOOK" when approaching an intersection with a STOP SIGN.

The warning comes on the heels of yet another crash at a Stop Sign controlled intersection.

Emergency personnel were called to the scene of a two car crash at the intersection of Perth Road 112 and Line 29 just before 9pm Sunday (August 7th, 2016) night.

Police say a southbound Hyundai Elantra was struck by an eastbound Chevy Cruze forcing it off the road where it then struck a tree.

The driver and passenger of the Elantra, both residents of the Tavistock area, were taken to local area hospitals with minor injuries.

The driver of the Chevy Cruze, a 33-year-old woman from North York, has been charged with 'Fail to Yield.'

Neither the driver or any of her four passengers were injured in the collision.
