Bluewater Council Hopes County Will Reconsider Advanced Care Paramedics Program

Bluewater Council has voted in favour of sending a letter to County Council regarding the Advanced Care Paramedics program.

County Council voted at its last council meeting to discontinue the program.

Bluewater Council is asking them to re-consider that decision.

Bluewater Mayor Tyler Hessel says they're not going as far as asking the County to reverse that decision.

"I'd have to check on the procedural by-law but I think it needs a two-thirds vote to come back and that would be a tough one to find," says Hessel.

Hessel adds they've also forwarded a copy of their correspondence to all of the other lower-tiers for their consideration.
