Friends of Sauble Beach Still Promoting Town Square Project

The group 'Friends of Sauble Beach' has re-issued a local challenge.

Earlier this year, Friends of Sauble Beach made a donation of $1,000 to the new Town Square project, and challenged Sauble Beach businesses, organizations and individuals to support the project.

So far, there have been no other donations.

The Town of South Bruce Peninsula initiative is currently at the design stage, and when completed will feature a concert and meeting venue in Sauble's downtown.

FSB President Kathy Strachan stated, "It goes without saying that the Town Square will add value to the downtown area by providing a place for people to mingle and meet, as well as venue for concerts, art exhibitions, entertainment for families and many other activities."

FSB hopes that the Sauble Beach community will follow its lead and get behind this initiative.
