GOJHL Showcase Schedule Released

The schedule for the 2016 GOJHL Showcase is out. The showcase starts September 9th at the Western Fair Sports Centre in London and runs to September 11th.

It marks the official start of the GOJHL season.

The Stratford Warriors get underway against LaSalle on the 9th at 7:15 p.m.

The Listowel Cyclones are in action the following day against Pelham at 1:45 p.m. Elmira takes on Strathroy at 2 p.m.

The St. Marys Lincolns begin their season September 10th at 8 p.m.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
