Marlins to Compete in Ontario Summer Games

The Palmerston Marlins Bantam Tier 1 team is representing Midwestern Ontario at the Ontario Summer Games in Mississauga.

The Marlins placed 7th at the Provincial Grand Tournament last weekend to earn a birth to the Games. Of the 16 teams competing at the event, only the top 10 would advance.

Athletes aged 13 to 17-year-old will compete at the games in Mississauga starting today. The women's softball competition begins tomorrow.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
