North Perth Ahead Of Schedule On Hwy. 23 Construction

North Perth CAO Kris Snell says the Hwy. 23 construction is coming along very well.

He gave an update today on where the project stands at the present time.

"At the present time, we're currently ahead of schedule," says Snell. "We're entering Stage 2, which is the roundabout construction, which will close off the top end of Hwy. 23 and Perth line 86."

Snell says the project is on budget on top of being slightly ahead of schedule, and he doesn't anticipate that will change. He also says there will be more projects following the roundabout completion.

"Stage 4 of the project is the completion of 86 west, which is going to happen next spring," he says. "Then, road 165 is being redone next spring as well."

During these construction projects, CAO Snell says he wants to remind everyone that local businesses are easily accessible and are open for business as usual.
