UPDATE: Man Dead, Teen Injured In Mapleton Crash

One man is dead and a teenage girl is in hospital following a single-vehicle rollover crash in Mapleton.

The Ontario Provincial Police say on Friday around 11:50pm, a 2006 Pontiac van left the road at the intersection of Concession 3 and Wellington Rd. 10, causing it to rollover.

The driver of the van, 46-year-old Paul Nobes of Cambridge, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A passenger of the vehicle, 17-year-old Marissa Radstake of Palmerston, was taken to a local hospital and before being transferred to a London hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Police say an investigation is ongoing.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
