Bruce Power Annual Event to Boost Local Hospital Foundations

Two local hospital foundations are getting a significant financial boost thanks to one of the region's largest employers.

Bruce Power held its Annual Charity Golf Tournament last Friday at the Saugeen Golf Club and managed to raise a total of $150,000 thousand dollars.

Proceeds from the 15th annual event will be split between the Kincardine Hospital Foundation and the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation.

To date, the Bruce Power Annual Charity Golf Tournament has raised roughly 1.5 million dollars for local hospital foundations.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
